Thabet Khalidi founded the Khalidi Law Office in 1994.  Since then, he has practiced in the areas of the family law, serious personal injury, medical malpractice and insurance bad faith.  After 15 years as a sole practitioner, Thabet invited Rob Ferrier to establish Khalidi & Ferrier, P.L.L.C. to better serve our clients throughout Arizona.

In 1979, when he was 13 years old, Thabet made his first visit to Tucson.  He was drawn to the warm and diverse people and climate of Southern Arizona and returned to Tucson in 1984 to study at the University of  Arizona, where he earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Management Information Systems.   Upon graduation, he pursued his passion for law and briefly left Tucson to attend the University of Wisconsin Law School in Madison, Wisconsin, one of the top 20 law schools in the nation.  He graduated cum laude and was a member of the Wisconsin International Law Journal.

Upon graduation in 1994, Thabet returned to Tucson and established the Khalidi Law Office.  Since then, he has proudly represented hundreds of clients in areas that most effect people's health, sense of security and well-being: family law, serious injury, malpractice, and health and disability insurance bad faith law.

Thabet is a firm believer in responsible citizenship.  In 2001, the Pima County Volunteer Lawyer Program  named him the Family Law Attorney of the Year .  When named one of the Top Pro Bono Attorneys in Arizona in 2003, he said, None of us would be where we are today without the help of countless others.  The only way to repay these kindnesses is to help others.

Thabet is a long time support of civil rights, working people and unions.  He represents a number of local unions in Southern Arizona.  In 2005, Thabet successfully defended three school teachers and a law school professor who had been sued for defamation by defeated Republican City Council person, Kathleen Dunbar.  Over the years, he has spent thousands of hours on pro bono cases.

Thabet has been happily married since 2000. He is the doting father of an elementary school age daughter. In his spare time, Thabet enjoys mountain biking and sea kayaking in the Sea of Cortez. He has also devoted his time and efforts to preserving his family's library in Jerusalem. See www.khalidilibrary.org.
